Geeks2U HQ

Our Core Values

So we are all on the same page, we have a set of Core Values that everyone at Geeks lives and breathes by. “We love our customers”, “we value our people”, “leave your ego at the door”, “on Wednesdays we wear pink”… Okay, that last one was made up, but you get the idea. You can find a complete list of our Core Values here.

We love feedback!

We’re obsessed with transparency. It’s why we use employee happiness tool TINYpulse. Staff can anonymously offer feedback and ask questions on anything and everything; feedback and questions that the entire company can read. We proudly respond to and share every comment, and anything that begs further discussion is put forward at our regular all-hands meetings. We want to make sure our Team are given every avenue to offer suggestions and feedback to make Geeks the best it can be!

Grow with us

We’re growing – fast! And there’s enormous opportunity for you to grow with us too. We have a track record of looking within the company to fill open positions. Two of our current department heads have made their way up through the Customer Service Team. Our Head of Technology was also one of the first technicians that Geeks2U had – over eight years ago!

Our people are everything!

It’s why one of our Core Values is “We value our people”. Individual accomplishments and team achievements are recognised and rewarded; recognised through regular, open and honest communication; rewarded with salary and promotions. Not to brag, but we also have an awesome office with a huge breakout area and kitchen with all the trimmings, fresh seasonal fruit to snack on every day and not to mention, we throw a pretty great team function. What’s not to love?

Sound good? Have a look below to see some of the opportunities we have available at the moment.

The new year is upon us, and with it, the promise of all sorts of new tech gadgets, with everything from foldable phones to smarter electric cars for sale. Connectivity is the glue that binds those two quite different concepts together, and indeed just about any other technology you’d care to name, because we absolutely… More

So, what is your password? No, don’t answer that. Really, please don’t. Partly because the whole point of a password should be that it’s a secret known only to you, but also because there’s increasing evidence that we’re still not much better at password security than we were last year. Each year, SplashData (100-worst-passwords-top-50) puts… More

2018 has been a year marked by some pretty big and significant privacy stories in technology. In one sense, this has been a healthy matter, because it’s made a lot more people aware of what it is they’re sharing online, where their data is tracked and what it’s used for. There’s plenty of data about… More

The history of web browsers is fascinating if you’re of a geeky bent, from the early days of NSCA Mosaic through to the explosive growth of Netscape and its eventual ousting by Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) browser. If you’re not that geeky, you’re probably more used to clicking on an icon to access the web,… More
